These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the TechKita website and platform (the “Service”). By creating an account or otherwise using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
TechKita is open to students, developers, designers, creators, entrepreneurs, organisations, and small businesses. You must provide accurate information when creating an account and are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
When using TechKita, you agree not to:
We may remove content or suspend accounts that violate these Terms, at our reasonable discretion, and will use confirmation steps before taking destructive moderation actions where practical.
You retain ownership of the content you post to TechKita, including project descriptions, problem submissions, and profile information. By posting content, you grant TechKita a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to display, distribute, and promote that content within the Service and in connection with operating and marketing the community. You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to post anything you submit.
TechKita is a platform that helps members discover, form teams around, and build solutions to real problems. TechKita does not guarantee that any problem will be solved, that any project will be completed, or that any outcome will meet a particular standard. Agreements between members, organisations, and project teams about scope, ownership, or compensation are the responsibility of those parties, not TechKita.
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. TechKita does not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, TechKita and its organisers will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including damages arising from projects, problems, or interactions between members.
You may stop using the Service and close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, with notice where reasonably practicable.
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will update the “Last updated” date above when we do. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia.
